Carlo Tappero is an Italian certified radiologist part-time working at the Institute of Forensic Medicine at the University of Zurich. He completed his medical and radiological education at the University of Turin (Italy). His special focus during his training was interventional radiology. From 2008 to 2011 he worked as clinical radiologist at the Radiology Department of the Hospital of Asti (Italy). From 2011 to 2016 he worked as clinical and interventional radiologist at the Radiology Department of the Hospital of Casale Monferrato (Italy) and in November 2013 he attended the 10th Virtopsy course at the Institute of Forensic Medicine at the University of Zurich. Since spring 2016 he is working as interventional radiologist at the Radiology Deportment of the Inselspital, University Hospital of Bern, Switzerland and since spring 2017 he is also working as a part-time radiologist at the Institute of Forensic Medicine at the University of Zurich with the Virtopsy group.
